Dr. Khaled Sharif is an internationally renowned Eye Surgeon who is the Founder and Medical Director of the Sharif Eye Centers Medical Group Inc.; a professional corporation dedicated to providing world-class laser vision correction procedures as well as comprehensive multi-subspecialty eye care in various cities in the Middle East.
Dr. Khaled completed his residency and fellowship training in Great Britain where he worked as an Eye Surgeon for ten years. He was the first Eye Surgeon to perform LASIK procedures in his country, and was also a pioneer in introducing Implantable contact lens surgery as well as laser cataract surgery and lately the first UltraLASIK procedures, besides the latest technology in eye sight correction, the Contoura Vision technology.
He published a prize winning textbook on Corneal Diseases in Great Britain as well as more than one hundred papers and presentations in European and American Medical Journals.

Founder and chairman of Sharif Eye Centers Medical Group Inc. Dr. Sharif received a fellowship degree from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Glasgow UK, specializing in eye surgery. One year later, he received a Fellowship Degree from the Royal College of Ophthalmologists in London.
Dr. Sharif is also a consultant for Wavelight Excimer Laser Company (ALCON – USA ), and is involved in the training of other Surgeons in many countries on different Refractive Surgery Techniques.
Dr. Sharif has been invited by many countries in the World to give training courses on Eye Laser Surgery (PRK, LASIK, & IntraLASIK) to Eye Surgeons and Medical Doctors. Few years ago, he was invited as a visiting Professor at New York University Medical School and the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary where he gave lectures on the same subject.
Dr. Khaled Sharif is the head of the medical team at the Sharif Eye Centers. This team consists of twenty highly qualified Ophthalmologists and Optometrists with wide experience in the various subspecialties of eye care.
