Samsung recently launched its eagerly awaited range of QLED TVs in Paris.
The line up, which was launched at the famous Carrousel du Louvre and is expected to go on sale in Jordan in May, relies on Quantum dot technology for 100 percent color volume and wider viewing angles than before. “With QLED TV, Samsung’s advances in Quantum dot technology provide our best picture quality ever, all while truly enhancing the way you live,” said Dave Das, SVP Consumer Electronics Marketing for Samsung Electronics America.
One of the highlights of the range is The Frame, which was designed in collaboration with renowned Swiss designer Yves Behar. The TV can be hung on a wall and doubles as a digital painting when not being used.
Other important highlights include the lack of a gap between the TV and the wall it’s mounted on, and the single, almost invisible wire that allows customers to place their TV anywhere they wish, without the hassle of mingled wires and clutter behind any television. What’s more, with one optical cable, the new TV brings all related devices together, that can now be placed anywhere in the room instead of having to be placed under the TV.
As for its viewing angles, the new QLED TV offers a better color volume—achieving 100 percent color volume—brightness and bold contrast. Not only that, but the single remote control also supports and controls all connected devices than just the TV.
“At Samsung, we strive to provide our customers with the most advanced technology to deliver unrivaled viewing experiences and cutting-edge designs that complement their everyday lives,” said President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, HS Kim. “With state-of-the-art style, smart features, and picture quality, our 2017 lineup is truly ushering in a new era for television.”
