Amman Rotana Hotel to Open this Month

The Amman Rotana Hotel, a central feature of the multi-billion dollar Abdali mega project, is due to start receiving guests this month.

The soft opening will allow guests access to the first 26 of the 50 floors of the tower, which is now the tallest building in Jordan, providing around 250 rooms. Once completed around September, the new hotel will offer 412 rooms and suites with six different dining options, a gym, and a swimming pool available to guests.

The hotel aims to appeal to residents, holidaymakers, and primarily business travelers, with a diverse selection of meeting spaces, lounges, and a business center.

General Manager Atieh Hamarneh said of the opening: “We expect Amman Rotana to bring a qualitative addition to the hospitality and hotel sector in the Kingdom. The hotel has numerous exceptional characteristics in terms of globally-rated services and a strategic location.”

He added that the hotel would provide employment for over 500 people, helping to boost Jordan’s economy, while the project itself demonstrates the confidence foreign investors, in this case Emiratis, have in the Kingdom.

The hotel is the newest addition to the growing Abdali development project, which already includes the Abdali Boulevard, Abdali Mall, and the Boulevard Arjaan by Rotana.
