MedLabs Launch New Technology for Vitamin D Testing

The Middle East’s leading laboratories, “MedLabs” held a press conference to announce the introduction of the “Gold Standard” technology for Vitamin D testing. The event took place on Tuesday, the 19th of April, 2016, at MedLabs management headquarters, where the company’s Chief of Research & Development, Dr. George Sahyoun explained the benefits of the new method and how it detects total Vitamin D levels in addition to its derivatives Vitamins D2 and D3. MedLabs are the first medical laboratories to introduce this technique in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

The new method, using the highly advanced LC-MS/MS Tandem Spectrometry technology for vitamin D testing was introduced by MedLabs to deliver the most accurate test results for this highly popular test, especially in light of the most recent international research over the past few years that has shown Vitamin deficiency to be linked to various types of cancer, diabetes, schizophrenia and diabetes among other diseases.
