Social Security Renews Contract with IHG

0 (94)InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) and the Social Security Investment Fund renewed their contract to manage the Crowne Plaza Amman and Crowne Plaza Resort Petra, today on January 27th. The contract was signed by Mr. Pascal Guavin, IHG Chief Operating Officer India, Middle East and Africa, and H.E. Suleiman Al Hafez, President of the Social Security Investment Fund, therefore announcing the continuation of operating Crowne Plaza Amman and Crowne Plaza Resort Petra under the Crowne Plaza brand.

Guavin said: “We are happy to pool all the experiences we gained from all over the world and place it in the hands of the hotel industry in Jordan, specifically for hotels that are owned by the Jordanian citizens via the Social Security Investment Fund.” He also added: “We at InterContinental Hotels Group appreciate these hotels’ dedication to attract international expertise in the hospitality field, which led to the development in the touristic services, as well as training many Jordanian experts in the hotel services field and hospitality, consequently turning those hotels into schools from which excellent talents and competencies have graduated and are currently working in local and regional hotel managements, and positively reputable restaurants.”

Al Hafez stressed on the importance of having a global establishment in the field of hotels and hospitality like InterContinental Hotels Group, that are working on managing local hotels owned by the Social Security Investment Fund, “which guarantees high quality of services and encourages the attraction of both inbound and outbound tourism.”
