As part of its continued efforts to empower female entrepreneurs, Jordan Ahli Bank recently sponsored the TGF 20:20 Initiative — a two-day training workshop organized by Trestle Group Foundation at the Sheraton AL Nabeel Hotel in Amman.
The workshop was designed to encourage entrepreneurial excellence by covering the essential principles of successful and sustainable start-ups. The workshop also sought to connect local entrepreneurs with investors and funding organizations in order to help them transform their visions into productive projects that add real value to the local economy, with products and services that can compete on both regional and global scales.
Jordan Ahli Bank’s sponsorship stems from its longstanding commitment to empower women and offer them the necessary tools and opportunities to become active contributors to the economic development, in line with Jordan’s national development strategy and the bank’s own vision. The bank believes that its role extends far beyond delivering banking and financial solutions to include supporting various segments of the local community by promoting innovation and productivity.
This sponsorship comes as part of a series of support initiatives taken by Jordan Ahli Bank toward promoting innovation by Arab and Jordanian women. The bank had recently launched “Al Nashmiat” – an initiative geared toward women with established entrepreneurial projects and which provides essential services that help them grow their business, thereby allowing women to play a greater role in sustainable development.
