Quattroporte

The original race-bred luxury sedan

From its debut in 2013 until the first quarter of 2017, the flagship Maserati Sedan has been delivered to 31,400 customers in 69 countries, making it the best-selling Quattroporte in history.

The exterior of the Quattroporte was elegantly restyled for 2017 with a new front and rear bumper design and an Alfieri- inspired, more pointed and imposing front grille with vertical chrome elements, which contrasts with the deep ‘sharknose’ effect.

An electrically-adjustable air shutter sits in the front grille, providing optimal control of the engine’s fluid temperature while substantially improving aerodynamic efficiency. As a result, the Cx coefficient of the Quattroporte is an exceptional 0.28.

In the 2018 Quattroporte, the headlights retain the same profile but now incorporate Adaptive full LED technology that considerably improves visibility and provides cooler light, as well as doubling the lamp life of the previous Bi-Xenon headlights.

The lavish interior of the Quattroporte epitomises the virtues of its predecessors from its 55-year history: grand touring luxury with pure Italian elegance, and race-bred style with excellent craftsmanship down to the very last detail.

The interior is focused around a driver-friendly interface. The instrument cluster’s large, analogue rev-counter and speedometer flank a 7” TFT display for many of the car’s operational features.

Maserati designers have followed a minimalist approach for the center of the dashboard. The central dashboard accommodates a high-resolution 8.4” multi-touch screen, the centerpiece of a state-of-the art infotainment system that is fully compatible with both Apple Car Play and Android Auto smartphone mirroring functions. The lower console’s rotary knob offers intuitive control of the system’s basic functions.

All Quattroporte models are equipped with an Air Quality Sensor, while in the 2018 model, two new comfort features are introduced: Soft Close Doors, which automatically and quietly close doors, and the electrically lockable passenger glove box with Valet Mode.

MARANELLO BUILT V6 TWIN TURBO PETROL ENGINE

The Euro 6, 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 delivers 350 hp power output at 5,500 rpm and 500 Nm peak torque between 1,750 and 4,500 rpm. 90 percent of the maximum torque is already available at 1,600 rpm.

The 350 hpQuattroporte retains a true to Maserati sporty character: it accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 5.5 seconds and has a top speed of 270 km/h while achieving the lowest ever petrol consumption in the history of Maserati flagship sedans, just 9.1 litres/100 km and 212 g/km CO2 in the combined cycle.

All versions of the flagship Maserati sedan are fitted with the eight-speed ZF automatic transmission that ensures exceptional comfort, fast gearshifting, optimized fuel consumption and reduced noise, vibration and harshness. The Quattroporte utilizes a mechanical rear LSD. The bevel-drive asymmetric unit offers 35 percent lock-up under power and 45 percent under release.

The chassis has been precisely designed to meet the performance and comfort demands of Maserati buyers while maximizing safety levels. With the longest wheelbase in the class at its core, the Quattroporte equally offers unparalleled interior comfort and exciting handling characteristics.

One of the standout features of the Quattroporte is the standard Skyhook system with electronically-controlled dampers. Skyhook prioritizes comfort and then becomes more athletic if the driver presses the suspension button, which is separated from the Sport button.
