The Russian automobile manufacturer AvtoVAZ has relaunched the Lada brand in Jordan after a 20-year absence.

The model line up that will be featured in the new showroom will include the Vesta five-door sedan, Lada Granta, the 3-door and 5-door Lada 4×4, the 7-seat station wagon and van Lada Largus, Lada Kalina and LADA Kalina Cross.

“The advantage of Lada cars is that their high level quality is widely recognized and the cars now utilize modern technology,” President of Lada Jordan Omar Shallah said during the brand’s relaunch in Amman.

Around 9,500 Ladas were sold in Jordan between 1986 and 1998.
